14 days until I leave.... Have a couple of lists started as far as "things to do before I leave"   and "things to pack"

Have been reviewing my notes of where I want to go and what I want to look for. I have a little mystery that I have been working on... a cousin named Elsa who lived in Bocsa whose dad was my grandpa's brother... they had some sort of hotel or casino or something like that... Seems to me that building should still be standing. Anyway, Bocsa is on my list of places to go and investigate.

Cora ( my Romanian contact) is going to be my guide my first week in Romania. She was a foreign exchange student of mine several years ago and lives in the same neck of the woods where my relatives came from. She has some sightseeing lined up for me and we are both looking forward to seeing each other again.

The kid's passports have arrived and their tickets have been bought.  They will join me in Germany on June 27 .  I hope all goes well. I know they are looking forward to it as much as I am.

Well in just a couple of weeks I'll be on my way. Hoping that I can use this blog as a way to keep track of what I encounter.  I can't believe  that I am actually going and that I have yet to pack one single thing.  I have my itinerary set, open for suggestions along the way of course.
Been keeping in touch with a former student -Cora- she lives in Romania--- In the SAME region that I want to explore !  Can you believe it ?!    Need to get a back pack / suitcase / bag of some sort yet.  The more I look the more I don't know what to take.... too many suggestions and choices.
